The things people ask before they pay
Is it priced per user?
No. One subscription per site, whether you have six staff or six hundred. Adding people costs nothing, which is the entire point.
Do I need separate hosting?
No. Koloab installs into the WordPress site you already run. Files go in your Media Library and content goes in your database, so everything stays on the hosting you already pay for.
What do I actually get for free?
The Starter tier is free forever and holds up to 10 files, plus notices, the branded login, the security features and the whole admin app. It is a real working intranet, not a trial with a clock on it.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. The workspace falls back to the Starter tier, your settings are kept, and everything reappears if the licence comes back.
Who takes the payment?
Freemius, who handle the licence and the receipts. The plugin code itself is GPL-2.0-or-later.
Is lifetime really one payment?
Yes. £359.99 for Standard or £509.99 for Premium, once, per site. It suits people who would rather deal with a purchase order than a recurring card payment.
What support is there?
Email support is included with Premium, and we answer general questions from anyone. It is best effort with no guaranteed response time, which we would rather state plainly than bury in a service agreement.
Who backs it up?
Your host does, the same as the rest of your site. Koloab deliberately has no backup system of its own, so check your hosting plan has enough storage and that restores actually work before you make this your team's only copy of anything.
